Mark A. Dwelle joined Ferris, Baker Watts in January 2001. Prior to joining FBW, Mark was a manager of corporate development for the Pittston/Brinks company and an audit manager at PriceWaterhouse. Mr. Dwelle received his B.S. in accounting from the University of Richmond, an MBA from the London Business School and has held the CFA designation since 2000.
Doug Mewhirter has been an equity analyst at FBW for two years. Prior to joining FBW, Doug spent six years at Capital One Financial in various product development and risk management roles. He earned an M.B.A .from the University of Richmond and a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy. Dough is also a Level 2 Candidate in the Charter Financial Analyst program.
Scott Heleniak joined Ferris Baker Watts in March 2006. Prior to joining FBW, Scott was an associate analyst with Mann, Armistead & Epperson, Ltd. covering furniture and home furnishings stocks in affiliation with Ferris, Baker Watts, Inc. and Wachovia Securities for six years. He also worked in investment banking on merger and acquisition-related transactions with Mann, Armistead & Epperson, Ltd. He received his B.A. in Economics/Finance and Accounting from the University of Hartford in 1998.
