John Bowen
Senior Vice President-Investments
John Bowen, is
a Senior Vice President of Ferris, Baker Watts in the Hagerstown Branch.
He joined the firm in 1981and has served the investment needs of
his clients for the past 18 years. Mr. Bowen handles a wide variety of
accounts including individual clients and retirement and pension accounts.
John's approach to investing is long term focusing on the individual needs
and goals of his clients. However, he also recognizes that special short
term opportunities do exist and that they can and should be considered
from time to time. He has extensive experience in the financial institutions
in this region.
John is a long-time resident of Hagerstown. He serves on the Board of Directors
of the Hagerstown YMCA, The Independent College Fund of Maryland and is
a member of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of
the inital class of Leadership Hagerstown. John coaches both boys and girls
basketball in Hagerstown. Mr. Bowen holds a MBA from East Carolina University.
